You need to consult the manual and the OSD menu that will be displayed on screen when you press the OSD menu. From my knowledge, I know that for these devices, the only way to delete/erase the hard drive is through the OSD menu.
I cannot log in with Videoserver E. I have a camera system which IP is 192.168.1.10. I opened a port (portforwarding) 80 with the IP 192.168.1.10. I tried to log in on Videoserver E, but it says: "Log in procedure failed."
Is it possible that I have the wrong username and password?

Yes, this is actually possible. Return to the port forwarding option and make sure that the forwarding is applied to TCP and UDP protocols. Once you do this, make sure that the connection can be established successfully by pinging the target host (192.168.1.10). After this operation, try to log-in again. If you encounter the same error, you might need to reset the password. To do this, consult the manual of the software.

The application was released entirely for Windows operating systems which in other words means that you can't install it in your device. If you want a similar application you can use Air Video as it does the same thing as Video Server E. You will need to install both Air Video in your iPad and Air Video Server on the PC you want to stream with. The application is extremely easy to use as you will enter the IP where the server is running and everything is done automatically afterwards.
I have lost the password to my Video Server E. I have heard that there is a master password, or a way to get into the software to change it. Can you help?
The IP address of the Video Server E is actually the IP of the computer. If you're using LAN and the IP is set to a local one, then you will have to forward the IP and the port in the Forwarding menu. The forwarding menu can be accessed from the Administration interface on your router.
Example:
IP of Video Server E: 1.1.1.1 (internal) External IP: 100.100.100.100 Port of Video Server E: 1234
In the Forwarding interface, it needs to look like this:
